review about my EG

Time flying and the end is on the way! But what going on is my English is really confusing and I don't know how to describe it. At some parts, I think i have improved a little, such as the ability of communication with other students, on the other hand, i still feel my english should be improved a lot, because even now, i can not talk fluently with students from other countries.
But think it sincerely, I think during this semester i am lucky to know BB, because his oral English makes me feel like going to America. What is more, his style is really different and he is really kind. More than this, I am really happy to make friends with my classmates.

Environmental Challenges of the 21th Century.

According to Juniper (2007), "our planet is utterly unique - a blue, white and green gem suspended in the gaping black emptiness of space" (p.8, para1), and some of us would think we are really lucky to live on this precious earth. But he also mentioned that "The Earth could so easily have remained like there other lifeless worlds" (p.8, para4), so we should also take care of our earth. Let us look at what our earth is now: first, as Trombly (2007) mentioned "There is limitless and practically useful energy anywhere you stand or sit" and "From the threat of global warming to the decline of endangered species, environmental issues are now at the forefront of the human agenda - and not a second too soon.” We can see now the environmental problem is really critical. For example, according to Evans (2007), CO2 is the main cause of global warming, but in our daily life, we know that the fire of fuel and polymer even other things would produce CO2. Hence, one solution to reduce the speed of global warming or solve this problem is to make some measures: set up the opinion of global warming in human minds, do what people can do in their daily life to contribute their energy and build up some green organization to reduce this problem. Firstly, knowing the reason for global warming is really necessary. Starting from the basic behavior, we should build up some activities to propagate that CO2 is the main culprit of global warming and some procession would produce it, such as the fire of coal, oil or plant, and then let people know the bad effects of global warming. At the same time, we should also point out that forest can make many good effects on reducing the amount of CO2 in the world. After doing these, most people would know the meaning of reducing the global warming. Hence, making people knowing the reason for global warming and the meaning of reducing it is really necessary for us to do. Secondly, if every factory in the world produces a little less CO2, the increasing rate of CO2 would reduce a lot. We can see that our world is an industrial world now and there exist many industrial factories. If every person in factories did what they can do for our environment, such as using advanced equipment for refreshing the air before letting them out, the temperature would reduce or at least remain balanced. As a consequence of contributions from factories, the warming phenomena would have a great change. Lastly, some behaviors from governments are really necessary for solving this problem. Greenhouse gases are emitted as a result of the energy we use by driving and using electricity and through other activities that support our quality of life like growing food and raising livestock. If governments build up some organization for our environment, such as organization for planting trees, green fuels corporation and so on, and then encourage some volunteers to join in them to produce more plants and produce some green fuels rather than coal or oil... then our world would become green in some years later. In summary, the government should take some above necessary measures to solve this problem. In conclusion, it is possible to reduce the global warming with the support from every part in the whole society. the suitable method for my country--China

With the development of the economy in China, the pollution of the environment is becoming a critical problem. Facing these wastes, whether the government of China should choose landfills, incinerators or “zero waste” is really hard to decide. But considering the environment and economic factors, the government of China might consider “zero waste" as a better method to solve this problem. But what is "zero waste"? "Zero waste is a grassroots movement from local authorities and people,” so some materials can be recycled (collins, 2002).
Comparing with other methods, "zero waste" makes the materials recycled and saves the limited source for our human beings, so it is really an economic development besides of the environmental conscience. More than what we can expect, It is a quiet revolution where non-profit community groups are turning waste into jobs, so some person would make life in this way. It is true that "zero waste” may not be achievable, but if we get anywhere near, then the benefit for health and jobs will be enormous. In contrast, land filling not only wastes sources, but also pollutes the environment, so it will indirectly make bad effects on our health and daily life. What is worse, land filling is also an uneconomical behavior due to the loss of the recyclable materials. Hence, we should choose "zero waste policy" rather than land fillings or incinerators due to environmental protection, source savings, source recycling and even economy development in China.

review about the Saving Nature,But Only for Man

As we all know that, we could catch fish in the river with our hand in a few years ago, but now we even can not catch any fish using fishnet. What happens and what lead to this phenomena? Maybe some person would say that the pollution is really critical now and that is the reason for it, but i want to ask what lead to pollution and who is the main cast in this behavior. I think the report, named Saving Nature,But only for Man, gives us the answer. The most part of reasons for the pollution to the nature comes from our human.
As the report maintioned, now most people like to show that they are lovers of mother nature, but it also indicates that we have make the pollution to our mother nature. In this report, we can see that it is calling people to learn more about nature and leading people to know that nature is not so benignity. What is more, we can see that we should take care of nature, not the nature charge us, so we should make balance with nature, then we can get our kind nature back. But what should we do for our nature in the report maintioned?
In the report we can infer that we should know which side is more meaningful such as between family and owl, we should choose family, so we should take care of the livelihood. And now our fate and that of nature are inextricably bound up, so we should take measures for our nature and balance the against health. What we should do for the threatened atmospheric is on the way for our human to do. The sentimental environmentalists will call some saving nature with a totally wrong frame of mind, so they should build up their new mind and do some thing for our nature.
Green house,Ozone depletion are being the most curious problems , so our human should practice sane environmentalism and do what we can do for our nature.

my birthday

haha. Time is flying, so after today i become one year older. Today is my birthday, I celebrated it with 21 friends together and I get many gifts. I am really happy.

Comparison and Contrast

A term often used for people who are deeply concerned with the environment is "green".Compare a "green" person's attritude toward consumption with that of a person who is not "green".

As all of us know, with the development of the economy and technology, the environment issues become more and more concerned. So towarding this problem, there are two kinds of person now in our daily life: some one that holds the opinion of protecting the environment and the other one not caring our environment very much. In our daily life, we named prier one as "green person "and later as "not green person". There are many differences about the attritude to some issues between them such as on consumption.
It is obvious that forest is the most important thing for nature to protect itself, but non-green persons would pay no attention on this and continue to do what they think right such as hewing trees for their benefits such as hewing trees.On the contrary,green person would do whatever they could to prevent our environment such as planting trees. What is more, most of the green persons would choose plants as their decoration in their house.However,non-green persons would prefer other things. More than that, different person would hold different opinion toward their healthy. It is true that plastic would not only pollute environment but also damage our body, but non-green person would make full use of this "convenent" things and throw rubish everywhere.As the subsequence of the opinion of protecting the environment, green persons would use reusable bags for the environment and their body. Hence, their exist difference between these two kinds of person on consumption toward environment.

Problem--Solution

Describe a serious environmental problem that exists in your home country today and explain how there could be an engineering solution to it.
As all of us know, unsafe drinking water, caused by a lack of sanitation in China's rural areas, is[LYJ1] the worst of the country's environmental problems now. The reason is 96% of China's villages have no sewage treatment, while 89% handle garbage without proper sanitation， what is worse, polluting factories are regarded as the major contributor to the deteriorating environment in rural areas.
So in order to solve this problem in the following time, we should take some measures. It is obvious that the government of china[LYJ2] has not paid the whole[LYJ3] attention on this problem, so they should have a change and[LYJ4] do something on polluting factories, such as punishing them[LYJ5] if they do not deal with the waste[LYJ6] water. According to the reason, we can see[LYJ7] that the government of china should supply some[LYJ8] sanitation for villages to improve the equipment. Only one part trying best is useless, [LYJ9] so all Chinese should also build up the opinion[LYJ10] of preventing our environment and do something we can to protect our environment such as saving the water in our daily life.
It is true that there also exist some other reasons for this problem, but if we solve these main reasons , the water problem would be reduced due to the natural protection, so we should protect our [LYJ11] environment for our daily life.[LYJ12]
